To avoid cue dependent forgetting make conscious use of accessible cues. Trace dependent: the actual dependent change in the brain has been altered. More  recent traces of memory are lost first. To avoid trace dependent forgetting you must live right and keep your brain stimulated  Interference(interaction): materials that you’ve learned on material that you have or that  you will learn. The interaction on items already in your brain.  a.a. Proactive inhibition      : previously learned material prevents(inhibits) the  storage of new materials. a.b.
