Leaching Requirement- the extra percentage of water that must infiltrate into the soil beyond the amount needed for meeting the evapotranspiration needs, non-uniformity, and non-infiltrated losses. Leaching Fraction- the fraction of water that is being used for leaching. 3. List 3 practices used to minimize salt damage to plants during germination. Shaping the seed beds to minimize the salt concentration around the seed.
