Destructive Testing Tasks and Schedule 279 Miller Rd, Orange City, FL Testing Dates: Friday, November 11 th through Sunday November 13 th Team Members: Craig Dixon, David Roueche, Karl Kremser, Justin Henika, Abraham Alende (possibly), Brian Wemple (possibly) Tasks: 1) Survey complete asphalt shingle roof for tab adhesion 2) Perform ASTM D6381 Procedure A and B mechanical uplift tests on shingle tabs 3) Harvest 2-3 asphalt shingle roof decks from the house with plan dimensions of 9 ft by 9 ft 4) Perform 200-300 nail withdrawal tests using the Portable Nail Extractor Schedule: Wednesday – 11/9/11 Morning-Afternoon : Conduct final preparations for Portable Linear Actuator and Portable Nail Extractor, pack truck for trip Thursday – 11/10/11 Morning-4:00pm: Finalize the trip packing and materials purchase (if necessary) 4:00pm: Leave for Orange City, FL 6:30pm: Arrive at hotel in Orange City, FL Friday – 11/11/11 6:30 am: Leave hotel to go to 279 Miller Rd. residence 7:00 am-11:00am: Conduct asphalt shingle roof survey 11:00am-12:00pm:
