Speech 120 Patrick Moe 21/04/09 I. Introduction - Defining pollution - Pollution should be prevented because it makes a country lose its beauty II. Types of Pollution A. Air Pollution - Acid Rain, Smog, CFC’s, Outdoor Pollution - Noxious gasses (sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, and chemical vapors) - Air pollution exist within buildings and many people are affected daily B. Land Pollution - Dumping urban waste matter indiscriminately, dumping of industrial waste, mineral exploitation, and misusing the soil by harmful agricultural practices. - Solid waste & Soil Pollution - Waste from agriculture, mining, industries, sewage treatment, ashes & garbage C. Water Pollution - Result of factory production - Result of farming
