Speech 120 Patrick Moe 05/11/09 At the start of the semester, we set up a lot of goals for the class. Personally, I think that I succeeded in most of them. I always prepared my speech 1 day before having to speak in front of the class. During that one day, I would at least practice it three times and try to memorize as much as I can. So when it was my turn to speak, I would be able to speak with a good flow. I realize that usually I don’t use filler words during my speeches. However, there are some instances when I forgot what to talk about and accidentally use it, even though I realize that I shouldn’t. The whole class always said I was loud, clear, conversational and had a lot of gestures. I had troubles with my hand gestures at first since I don’t know how to spontaneously use them. But as time goes by and you do a lot of speeches, you automatically learn it since it helps you to convey what you are talking about. As for the class expectation, I did everything I could to be a good audience. I never eat in class,
