Unformatted text preview: Jonathan Grant 5/8/11 Reaction to Bias From the reading, it is obvious that Goldberg believes that the news media has a left-wing bias. In other words, news stations across America- TV, radio, and Internet- are supportive of liberals and have ridiculed and even distorted facts about the conservatives across the country. The interesting part about this book to me is that Goldberg, himself, is a liberal. This book also sparked my interest because this information and opinion was coming from someone inside the business. Goldberg is someone who has been in operations with CBS and worked for them. He knows all the dirt about the industry, so anything that he would comment on should have some credibility to it. Goldberg obviously reinforces that he has no bias in writing this book because he is criticizing the media for favoring his own beliefs and viewpoints as a liberal. I believe he does this for the greater good of society because he sees the ethics of the situation and understands...
