Tyler Durden : Im not denying that evil exists but rather pointing out that good is embedding in evil, its all relative pressure. For something to be created, another thing must first be destroyed (when building a house the earth must be broken, or when producing glass sand must be melted). Evil is necessary evil. Without it good would be severely limited, if not eradicated. But its not only necessary for evil to exist for there to be good. Good must also exist for the purpose of supporting evil. When getting married (a good event) a bride must somewhat abandon her old family (a negative consequence) represented by her father walking her down the aisle. In Fight Club, Tyler Durden says, tomorrow will be the most beautiful day of Raymond K. Hessel's life. His breakfast will taste better than any meal you and I have ever tasted. This is his explanation for holding Raymond up at gunpoint and threatening his life. That morning breakfast, is his explanation for holding Raymond up at gunpoint and threatening his life....
