After the rearrangement and closing of the switch, the total charge in the upper portion of the circuit is Q 1 Q 2 = Q =250 µ C. With notation similar to that in the previous problems, Q = q 1 + q 2 = C 1 V + C 2 V which yields V =4 . 55 V, which, in turn implies q 1 = C 1 V = 182 µ Cand q 2 = C 2 V =68 µ C.
