The test covers the material presented in class (e.g. terms, etymologies, historical information) and the chapters on ‘The Eye’ and ‘The Ear’ which are ch. 10 and 11 in your textbook. As stated and demonstrated numerous times in class, the ability to break medical terms into their component parts is imperative to performing well on tests. Many of the combining forms, roots, prefixes, and suffixes you have already learned for the previous tests will show up again on this test and subsequent tests. a.
