PRS Transmitters • To use the system – There is a receiver at the front of the room • No line of sight is needed • Logging in: – Turn on the transmitter – Wait for it to finish scanning classes • If it finishes without finding a class, hit the < key and then the enter (green arrow) key to restart scanning – Join the “BIO185PERK” section (select it and press enter) – Enter your Student ID and then press enter • With initial zeros! (e.g., 01134275) – You’re in! • Your transmitter should remember your student ID; if you share your transmitter with someone in another class, I can configure your remote to always ask for an ID.

To do so: • Press the enter button (when it is showing “ID:_____”) • Type in your OCC student ID number (NOT your SSN) • Press enter twice (to get out of the menu) • Without your correct student ID, I won’t be able to give you points for your responses Menu Up button Enter
