So if the two were to sustain the same trauma to the chest, it would affect the 75 year old womans bones more than the 9 year olds. The 75 year old would be more apt to break bones because of the loss of calcium in the bones due to her age. The 9 year old has plenty of calcium in her bones, so her bones can withstand more pressure with out breaking....
