1. Both tobacco companies and illegal drug markets have customers that value what these businesses can offer. For instance, tobacco companies are legal and have certain products to offer to respond to the needs of customers. Even though there are a lot of advertisements that smoking is dangerous, a lot of people enjoy smoking, therefore, ready to pay for tobacco. As for illegal drug market, Unfortunaly, the market has customers as well. Depending on the price of the drug, people can afford it. Tobacco companies and illegal drug markets are from-profit organizations and have necessary resources to stay in business. 2. I think that any unexpected issues that happen with softwares or databases are outside of enterprise boundaries. Or any other events that were not planned would be outside of enterprise boundaries. I don’t think that information system designers can predict what events may occur beyond an enterprise’s boundaries, though they can always have a backup plan in case problems occur. They can prepare to some events, but they cannon
