Sale to Inventory relationship is a (0, N)-(1, N) There can be a sale that took place and no inventory was sold. Thus the relationship would be (0, N). But there should not be a case when no inventory was sold. The exception would be a fixed asset or inventory. In this case the participation of purchase with fixed assets is optional and cash disbursement can be made to an employee or a creditor. Another exception would be if no inventory was sold. Then the pattern would look like (0, N). It is not normal not to sell any item though....
