Assignment 4-1 . 2 1. The main difference between data flow diagrams and flowcharts is the representation of the physical and logical characteristics of a system. Flowcharts lack to represent the physical characteristics of the system, but data flow diagrams exclude the physical system attributes. I think it is easy to prepare date flow diagrams because they are not as detailed as flowcharts. They have a main frame that does not change with the modifications of a diagram. The also provide a balanced documents how the data flows and what processes happen in the system. On the other hand, I believe it is easier to interpret the flowcharts because all the details and changes are reflected on the chart, so the reader can identify what physical components are used. 2. While the purpose of task level modeling is to record the data flow of the enterprise, the business process level modeling has the aim of designing the enterprise database. Task
