The purpose of this experiment was to understand the i-v characteristic curve of different types of diodes. In order to achieve this, first the forward and reverse resistance of different types of diodes was determined by using Keithley Model 175. Then the current flow was tested on a test circuit to get the saturation current values and also the voltage drop values were obtained by changing the values of the current source to see the have a precise idea about the i-v characteristic of the diode. 2.
