Jonathan Grant Minors Killed in Fair Road Accident Three minors were all found deceased due to a vehicular accident on Fair Road last evening. The accident took place at about 11:45 pm in Statesboro. A 2003 Kia Spectra was struck by a 2007 Chevy Silverado that was traveling south on Fair Road. The three deceased minors were sitting in the bed of the pick-up truck when the accident happened. No one was injured in the Kia, which was driven by Evelyn Keyes. She is 43 years of age from Statesboro. She was accompanied by one passenger, Ruth Keyes, who is also of Statesboro. The Silverado was driven by 20-year old John Cromwell from Register, Georgia.

Unformatted text preview: The Statesboro Police Department has made several comments based on their investigation thus far. One spokesman said their investigation showed that the Kia pulled out in front of the truck. The Kia was exiting the Harvey’s Supermarket when the accident occurred, which is the 8 th accident this year at this intersection. No charges have been filed against either driver, and the investigation is on-going. The minors’ names were not given due to their age. As far as damages, the Kia was totaled; the Chevy suffered minor damage. The weather was clear....
