Pre-AP Spanish II Course Outline Sra. Louper E-mail: [email protected] Phone: 409-925-2700 ext. 3226 Overview: Spanish is the study of the Spanish language with an insight into the various facets of the Spanish-speaking countries. Major Curriculum Timeline: Spanish II begins with a review of those structures taught in Spanish I. The primary concern and focus is the individual student performance in all four areas of the target language skills: LISTENING, SPEAKING, READING and WRITING. Grading System: Daily Work / Homework / Quizzes 20% Participation 20% Chapter Exams and Projects 60% Required Materials: Notebook Paper Spiral Notebook (brought to class every day) Writing Utensils (pens/pencils) Spanish-English Dictionary ( RECOMMENDED ) **Buen Viaje (textbook) will be provided for you to use in the classroom. These books may NOT be removed from the classroom for any reason. If you would like a textbook for at-home use, you may check one out from the librarian. Class Participation:
