Unformatted text preview: Nicholas Connolly Eng 112 Dr. Rees April 30 th , 2009 Writers Memo I decided to write about language because I felt that it was the most important overall concept that our class learned about all semester. After we finished our final book, Huxleys The Doors of Perception , our class came to the conclusion that language was a major factor in all three texts, The Matrix , and Taylors movie on the brain. The prewriting strategies that I used were mostly consisted of notes I took from class, discussions from both Dr. Rees, and the opinions from the kids in my class. I also used many major topics that we discussed in class over the texts. With each book, Dr. Rees would go over important issues with each text on certain pages. What I did to revise the first draft was first have my peers read my draft and took all of their feedback with an open mind I think peer editing is one of the best ways to revise a paper because my peers are not only familiar with the topic of the paper, but also...
