The inference that i had would be that if you add the acid to anything it will be that same color especially if the base was a baking soda. Color of BTB drop on previous base drop is Blue BTB in the presence of acid is Baking soda Color when a drop of acid is added to previous base plus BTB spot yellow Because the acid is still being dropped into the base Color of drop BTB while still in the bottle is
