Final Project (30%): Poetry Manuscript 4-5 Poems Due April 27th 5 Page Artist’s Statement Throughout the course of the semester, you have written several poems, and over the next few weeks we will be discussing your poems in class and online workshops. Hopefully you have had some time to experiment with different styles and subject matter, which is one of the first steps to really developing your poetic voice. For your final project, I want you to turn in a minimum four, maximum five best poems of the semester. The following are your guidelines: 1. Your poems must add up to a minimum total of 500 words. This will probably require you to write at least one poem that is longer than a page. I know that it is weird to put a word count on poems, but I want you to experiment with a few poems that are longer than a half a page. Because I am giving you a minimum word count, you have the flexibility to write an extra poem if need be.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
