The Perks of Being a Wallflower Review Now, I know that most of you have not read this book, so I will give a list of summarized quotes focused on one of the books primary themes: the display of innocence and coming of age. Charlie, a likeable freshman boy in high school who we learn near the end of the book was molested as a child by his aunt, says these: Charlie’s Quotes: “And in that moment, I swear we were infinite.” Perhaps the most famous line from this book, he says this about his friends Sam and Patrick and himself riding in a car in a tunnel with the radio blasting. “We were just there together.
