An Argument Against “An Argument that Abortion is Wrong.” Don Marquis has some killer points in his essay. Instead of attempting to deride the nearly irrefutable, highly logical arguments he has presented, I bring another, more grounded aspect into the discussion. Adding the questions of morality into the issue, there is small wonder the debate over abortion seems to be never ending. As long as differences exist in humanity’s morality, the debate will continue as to just what extent, if at all, abortions should be allowed to be performed. Morals vary between individuals and generations, and so, this debate will most likely be carried on into future centuries. Why waste my time debating something unwinnable? I approach the question as to whether or not abortion is “wrong” from an initially neutral standpoint, as a human searching for the betterment and continuity of my species. Abortion is not inherently “wrong”. Wrong is a word which can mean either immoral or executed incorrectly. Since we are overlooking the pointless arguments of morality issues, and
