Craig Refute It is very easy to believe in God. The theory makes sense of all or certainly most otherwise scientifically unexplainable happenings in our universe. Craig highlights a number of these in his essay “Five Reasons to Believe in God”. But even these seemingly bullet proof arguments fall flat if and only if one can take a unique and equally radical perspective on the issue. For instance, Craig says that God makes sense of the universe by first asking a rhetorical question as to where the universe came from, then answering it with rational reason leading to God as an unassailably logical answer. It’s true: the concept of God is unassailably logical, but only as logical as the concept of an otherwise spontaneously generated universe. This is because just as atheist scientists previously claimed the universe was “just there”, Christian scientists claim God has always been “just there”.
