He opened his first store in San Francisco Bay Area in early 1980s, since then the company has become more and more successful and George Zimmer has also been marked as the most representative person in the industry. After growing slowly in its early years, Men’s Wearhous expanded the business considerably in 1990s, due to the reason that going public. Though the company has dominated a large percentile of the market share of the industry and is continue growing rapidly, there are always difficulties for such a large company, in order to not only survive but keep being success in a industry that always full of competitors.
