4/24/11 Investment Success and Trends of the Time Becoming a successful investor in America is much more complicated and involved than it sounds. There are a lot of bright people and a lot of people who claim to be disciplined. Yet, there is only one Warren Buffet. He is widely regarded as the greatest investor of all-time. “Well I was lucky that I got started early,” says Buffet. No matter what the skill or the occupation, it is always best and a great advantage to get started honing that skill at a very early age. There are plenty of classic investment books from great men in this sphere that must be read in order to get the greatest effect from your investing. Buffet’s father was in the investment business, so when he was about seven year old, he began to read the likes of these classic investment books. “So I had a 15-year jump on many people, in a sense,” Buffet said proving the point that it is always best to know what you want to be early in life. Emotions are a big part of investing.
