The purpose of this lab was to titrate various acidic solutions with a solution of NaOH in order to determine and recgonize the different equivalence points in the titration process. By only adding small amounts around the equivalence point a smooth curve could be drawn and show where each equivalence point occurred. This experiment introduced the burette for titrations it was very accurate because it let such a small amount of fluid out, and could be stopped instantly. Also with the numbers obtained experimentally various calculations can be performed in order to determine concentrations and K a values.
