CAPSTONE CHECKPOINT 2 Capstone Checkpoint How has your view concerning the topic you covered in your final project changed throughout this course? The topic I chose to do my final project on is: Does it matter whether there is an afterlife? Does the question of whether an afterlife exists affect how we live now? Throughout this course, I think my views on this subject matter are a little bit stronger because I have had an opportunity to review a plethora of philosopher’s opinions and views about whether or not God exist, whether or not we have souls and if how we live our lives on earth depicts how our afterlife will be. My personal views are more aligned with dualism. I believe in God therefore, human beings have both physical and mental (spiritual) components. I don’t think I need a reason to believe in God and Kierkegaard basically said it best. Reason does not have a place in faith and God is beyond reason. Therefore, I also believe that we have
