An email last Friday… My name is ________ and I recently graduated from Kelley and took 2 of your classes in the process. I wanted to thank you for being a advocate of six sigma and giving job tips for students like me. I went on several interviews and was asked about my six sigma certification on almost all of them. I would also like to thank you for opening my eyes to the world of logistics and making me realize what a huge sector it actually is. I accepted a position as an operations supervisor for Prime Distribution Services in Plainfield and I feel like I owe you the majority of the credit for making this happen. I would also like to give some job searching tips to you for current Kelley school students. USE THE KELLEY JOB SEARCH!!! I have scoured job boards and never received a single call. However, I had many call backs and several interviews from jobs that were posted on Kelley careers. Without this service, I would still be working the same hourly job I did all throughout college. Also, anyone interested in logistics should check at Old Dominion Freight Line. They are currently hiring entry level managers. Thanks again, the things I learned in your classes will stay with me longer than I ever thought.
