Homework #1 - Shyic The data set you will be using for this homework is available on the website (http://mypages.valdosta.edu/mwhatley/3600/shyic50.zip). The data set is from a cross-cultural investigation studying shyness. The investigation sought to determine whether people from the United States, Chile, and Japan differed in their self-reported ratings of shyness. Analyze the data using a one-way analysis of variance using a probability level of .05 to evaluate the statistical tests and comparisons. Your dependent variable is “shyness” where higher values indicate greater shyness and your independent variables are “culture” and “gender” that must be analyzed separately. You will run the analyses and WRITE-UP the results in APA style, so check your APA manual. You should go to the following website before you begin writing-up the results. http://mypages.valdosta.edu/mwhatley/3600/oneway.htm Because there are more than two levels for the culture factor, you must make all possible comparisons among the three groups.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
