Learning Contract Explanation Your Learning Contract will serve as your personal learning guide for the course. To help you understand the role of the learning contract and how it will impact the other projects that you do in the course, I have listed the 3 major projects for this course below and briefly stated the connection of the Learning Contract to each. The learning contract will Focus your research strategies and consequent annotated bibliography and PowerPoint presentation, Assist you in choosing peer projects to evaluate, Help give direction to your instructional design projects, and Allow you to assess your progress and the accomplishment of your chosen objectives. The Learning Contract allows you to structure your semester to learn the things you are interested in learning. The learning contract is an important part of any self-directed learning experience. In this course the contract will be written by the student, revised in conjunction with the professor as necessary, and used to determine overall course performance. The contract will be the result of a self needs assessment and will include learning outcomes, resources and strategies, evidence of accomplishment of objectives, and how the evidence will be evaluated. The contract will follow the format established by the
