Excel Charts Charts allow you to present data entered into the  worksheet in a visual format using a variety of  graph types.  Before you can make a chart you must first enter data into a worksheet. - Enter the data into the worksheet and highlight all the cells that will be included in the chart including headers

Excel Charts Chart Types. Microsoft Excel offers a wide selection of chart types and  sub types, to help you use your data to get your point  across.  There are about 11 standard chart types, each with  several subtypes.  The default chart type (a Clustered Column chart,  if you've never specified another default type) in  the chart wizard box is selected.  If you want a different chart, access it in the chart box or

Example Excel Chart Types Column Charts: A column chart shows data changes  over a period of time or compares different items.  Clustered Column    This type of chart compares values  across categories. In this example, categories are  organized horizontally, and values vertically, to  emphasize variation over time.
