Government Agency Web Sites Government and international law enforcement agencies provide reports and statistics about  crime. While these can be placed on the scholarly side of the continuum, there are a number of  caveats that must be mentioned concerning government reports. Before simply accepting as  "fact" government reported statistics, criminologists first question how these statistics have been  collected and for what purposes.  In this regard,  next week  we will discuss the problems with
