Boylan 1 Kelly Boylan English 110-111 Final Draft, Paper 4 December 8, 2010 Improvement In My Writing Process To be completely honest, I was dreading my required English class before I entered col- lege. I knew I was a decent writer, but I also knew that my writing skills were not up to par for a college writer. My researching, writing and drafting skills have come a very long way since the beginning of the Fall 2010 semester. In my high school English class, my writing process was simple to say the least. As much as I would love to say my process was just like the one I wrote about in the beginning of this semester, it was not that detailed. I would start out with a very basic outline, but that would develop into a sloppy final draft written the night before the paper was due. Fortunately, throughout English 110 my writing process has gradually gotten better. The first assignment was a Rhetorical Analysis Paper on a reading from The Arak Antho- logy. I read the essay written by Jie Ge entitled “Lofty Rooms: The Imprisonment versus the Protection of the Virginal Princess.” The part of this assignment which troubled me the most
