1. How can a company like CarMax, which faces significant challenges during a recession, use the FAME method to communicate with its employees? CarMax can use the FAME method to keep its employees informed and focused on the task at hand in the midst of change, thus preventing them from worrying about any uncertainties that the period of change might present. 2. Create a communication policy for CarMax that incorporates all four elements of the FAME method. When the leaders create a point of focus that they can effectively communicate to their employees as well as actively modeling the behavior to their employees, engaging them in the vision, then the employees will not experience the anxiety that not knowing causes. 3.
