In order to use the clinic’s data, what might the hospital need to do? The issues that were observed is that Doomore and Primicare use different patient ID information. Doomore uses a numeric data type where Primicare used text data. This can cause issues in being able to transfer the drug allergy data accurately and efficiently into their system. Another issue observed is that each facility collects different information with different definition of the information in the data dictionaries. Doomore and Primicare collect different data with different data dictionary definitions. Doomore collects the drug allergy, drug name and the reaction severity, where Primicare collects only the drug allergy.
