And we knew how to design a circuit which delivers three outputs. The Input Section of the Power Supply We built the circuit first. According to the Lab guide, we need a load which with 8.6 kΩ resistance. But we cannot find any resistor like that. So we picked a resistor with 20000Ω resistance instead. Here is the input signal of the rectifier: According to the guide, we will have the DC output at this point “with a very large amount of “ripple” ”. And here is what we got, Then we smoothed the ripple with creating a filter.
