Principles of Public Relations 6 Assignments There will be two writing assignments: a news release . News release - 200 points Student selects subject from choices provided or other source Other source requires instructor approval Pitch letter - 100 points Must be same subject as news release

Assignments (cont’d) Writing assignments must be neat and professional. They will be evaluated for proper style and format, content, grammar, spelling, syntax, vocabulary (i.e. word choice) and scope. Submitting assignments late , without compelling reasons is irresponsible. Late assignments will be penalized
