Lab 7 – posted 11/13, due 11/25 at 11:00 pm In this lab, you will create a hex/bin/decimal number converter. This lab will also test your ability to work with functions and arrays. This lab is more challenging than previous labs, in that it relies on your ability to read and understand code, and to fully use functions which accept and alter parameters, and return values based on calculations. As usual, your program will present (repeatedly) a command menu to the user, with the following options: 0. Exit the program 1. Convert binary to decimal 2. Convert hexadecimal to decimal If the user chooses the binary conversion (by entering ‘1’), then she will be asked to enter a binary string (like 00010). The string will be converted to a decimal value. If the user chooses the hexadecimal conversion (by entering ‘2’), she will be asked to enter a hexadecimal string (like FB60). The string will be converted to a decimal value. For this lab you will NOT write your own program from scratch , instead, you will modify the template file we provide to you. You are required to complete all the missing parts, as explained in the following. You are not allowed to add/change function definitions. To prepare for this lab, please read the lecture on Numbering Systems, and Appendix A in the text. Also, if you
