Farm Plan Project, 2007 Farm Plan Grading Balance Sheet 10 Income Statement 10 Whole-farm plan 20 Whole-farm budget 10 Written portion 50 Next step of the plan: After completing the balance sheet and the income statement (see earlier instructions), you will develop a whole-farm plan using enterprise budgets and linear programming. The enterprise budgets are available from Alabama Cooperative Extension System. There is a link on the front page of my class website (pduffy.pageout.net) that will take you to the budgets. Print a copy of a budget for each possible crop enterprise: corn (dryland, not irrigated), cotton, soybeans, and peanuts. Now print a copy of the budget for these livestock enterprises: cow-calf (with raised replacements); 65 head stocker steer, winter grazing, light weight calves; and summer stockers on bermudagrass.
