Comp. 1 7 Nov. 2011 Sitting on the uncomfortable, cold floor waiting for my name to be called, nervousness is one of the few feelings that I can seem to produce. Thousands of anxious parents, brothers, sisters, and friends wait for the time of their own wrestler to show what he has been training all year for. Freshly filled stomachs fill the arena including my own to give me just enough energy to perform to the level I am capable of. My name is called, and all the feelings I was unsure of become a thing of the past. Walking out of the crammed tunnel, I finally notice how large the Lakeland Civic Center looks from a non-spectators point of view. Once my opponent shows, and I know who I have to wrestle, I snap back to reality and remember I am wrestling in the FHSAA wrestling state tournament. As I take the match slip to the mat we are designated to wrestle on, I size up my opponent from Ft. Pierce Central high school. He is bigger than me in every way except I have an inch of from Ft....
