Answer all of the questions asked in the textbook. (Do not use Excel to answer any of these questions;
you may use your calculator; you do not need to show each step of the calculation; be sure to give 3
decimal places of accuracy in all your answers.)
In part (a): Make your scatterplot by hand. Be sure to clearly label and scale both axes. Scale the xaxis from
15 to 23 with labels at each whole number. Scale the yaxis from 3.00 to 3.60, with labels at
3.00, 3.10, 3.20,
etc.
In part (d): Make your residualplot by hand. Be sure to clearly label and scale both axes. Scale the xaxis
from 15 to 23 with labels at each whole number. Scale the vertical axis from .015 to +.015, with
tickmarks at .014, .013, .012, etc., and with labels at .015, .010, .005, .000, .005, .010, .015.
