State The state provides support materials and a guide for each subject area and grade level. The state also determines what students should learn as wells all sets standards about what students should be learning by forming committees and holding public meetings. District The district reviews the materials that can be used in the classroom and

School The school plays a major role in that they take the provided materials and syllabuses to the students. Schools also must be aware of the student standards and maintain those standards. Teacher The role of the teacher is to teach the curriculum and decide how to teach the curriculum. Teachers decide what materials are used by attending district meetings and presenting the reviews of the materials that are suggested. Community The community role in the school and curriculum development is composed of religious and political groups. The community becomes actively involved in district decisions about materials for the classroom.
