The use of the graph will be placed in the section of my essay titled The relationship of gun control and its impact on crime. The material will support my papers argument by indicating that violent crimes will be committed whether or not there are gun controls laws in place. The information in the graph will make statistics easier to understand that most violent crimes are committed with the use of a weapon other than a firearm. According to Department of Justice (2010) website An offender was armed with a gun, knife, or other object used as a weapon in an estimated 20% of all incidents of violent crime in 2008.
