David Griffin BEH 225 Debbie Pearce Barvo Axia College University of Phoenix TV Character Evaluation Part I Write a summary of 350-700 words identifying the contributions of Freud, Jung, and Rogers. Psychodynamic theories of personality consider behavior to be the result of psychological dynamics within the individual. Often, these processes go on outside of awareness. The three main theorists are between Freud, Jung, and Rodgers. Between them, they have come up with what makes a person act a certain way. According to which one you believe in or what to take into consideration when figuring out a person personality, they each have their own perspective on it. When it comes to Freud, he is the founder of psychoanalysis. Which he thinks that our personality is rooted in the dynamics of our unconscious. According to Freud, personality is made of three structures. The id, the only personality structure present at birth, operates in the unconscious according to the pleasure principle, meaning it tries to obtain immediate pleasure and avoid pain.
