CORE CONCEPT APPLICATION 2 Core Concept Application Learning about race and ethnicity in the United States has helped me better understand not just one minority group, but the many different minority groups we have discussed. This class has opened my eyes to the different races and their cultures. I have enjoyed learning about all these different groups, Arabic-Muslims included; considering I was not a complete fan of that group but I now understand more and realized I was being prejudiced against them. I still have my concerns about them, however, I am not so judgmental towards them, all ethnic groups have their flaws, mine included and it is not fair for me to judge any group because of their race. Learning about these groups, has allowed me to see what they have been through with the struggles and challenges in life. They have faced many changes, which has shaped them in to what they are today. All
