THREE DAY DIET ANALYSIS 2 Three Day Diet Analysis Over the course of the last three days, I had the opportunity of entering and evaluating my daily food intake. Although there were some areas that were satisfactory, there were other areas which need attention. In this paper, I will be breaking down the information which was disclosed to me in the dietary guideline recommendations. Being that I am a faithful vegetable eater, I was not surprised with the fact that I exceeded the recommendations. The recommended daily amount for vegetables for me is 2.5 cups (USDA. 2011). The actual amount consumed was 5.9 cups. I am not sure if eating too many vegetables is a negative thing, but I consume more vegetables than anything else. The second area I was evaluated was grains. The daily amount recommended for me in grains is 6 oz. (USDA. 2011), and I consumed 3 oz. The grains that I consumed were oatmeal. Although a diet should be balanced with grains included, too many grains can bring carbohydrate recommendations too high, I take in about half of what my daily recommendation asks for.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
