Scenario one “Violence Prevention in a High Risk Community”; this particular scenario I believe is Tertiary prevention. Tertiary prevention is to rehabilitate and return the client to the community. I believe this is an effective way to aid the battered wife. She will definitely need to attend classes in order to rebuild her self-esteem and confidence. I also believe that because of the husband and his abusive behavior should be sent for service provision since his anger is the problem in this scenario. Service provision is the stage of the human service workers or other service workers provide specific services geared toward the reduction of risk of maltreatment. Scenario two “Closure of a Planned Parenthood Clinic”; I believe that this scenario is the Primary Prevention. This particular prevention is not quite as effective. I think that this situation could be handled in a different way. I believe
