The exam will test your comprehension with questions that range from content knowledge (i.e., did you learn the key facts?) to higher order knowledge and comprehension of scientific data (i.e., did you understand the concepts, can you think through problems logically) . For content knowledge memorization will help you to prepare. For the higher order questions, an alert mind in class and on the exam, ready to think through the problem posed, is the most important key to success. What to study? The test focuses on material covered in lectures, so your notes on lecture examples and explanations, together with the lecture slides (which provide a summary set of notes) should be your primary resources when studying for the test.
