Taylor III Software/Hardware You will need a copy of Microsoft Excel with both Analysis ToolPak and Solver Add-In installed. You must have access to a computer that meets the recommended configuration for students entering the Pamplin College of Business. The Pamplin Computer labs (Pamplin 2004 and Pamplin 2010) will have the required software available. Attendance Attendance is encouraged. If you cannot attend a lecture, please get notes from a classmate. If you must leave class early, please let me know prior to the beginning of class. Also, try to minimize these occurrences, as they are distracting to your classmates. BIT 2406 – Nottingham – Spring 2011 2 CAEE Tutoring Program The Center for Academic Enrichment and Excellence offers a tutoring program that is available to students taking BIT 2405, 2406. Each tutoring appointment is one hour in length but may be extended if the tutoring schedule permits. Tutoring takes place Monday through Thursday. Additional information concerning this program is available at the web site When sending me email to me, the following conventions must be used. If they are not used, I may not receive your email (and thus, you may not receive a reply). To ensure that your email is appropriately filtered, you MUST put “BIT 2406” in the subject line. You should also include a description of the topic/purpose of the email in the subject line after “BIT 2406.” For example, “BIT 2406 – Request for Appointment.” All emails should include a greeting and a signature. I have a very secure filter and if your email does not follow this convention.
