29 Solution: The balanced reaction is (You must know what a combustion reaction looks like!!!) C 2 H 4 g 3 O 2 g 2 CO 2 g 2 H 2 O l a. This is a limiting reagent problem. b. The amount of CO 2 product produced can be found using Avogadro’s law of combining volumes. At the same temperature and pressure equal volumes contain the same number of moles. i.e. moles is proportional to volume. c. The volumes of gases must be in the same proportions as the stoichiometry of the chemical equation.
